Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT) appears ready to take more of its Zune services outside the U.S. for the first time, using Windows Phone 7 as a beachhead.

One observer found this site in the UK inviting entries for all Microsoft-you-can-eat Zune Pass music service unlimited streaming and download at a price of £ 8.99 per month or £ 26 97 for three months . 

When asked, Microsoft says PaidContent: UK does not send the HD Media Player Zune outside the U.S., but because cell phones coming Windows 7 software required for PC synchronization Zune music, videos, podcasts, photos and apps, it has given “preview” access, to a “limited Zune Marketplace catalogue”, to app developers.

It’s likely there where the observer’s screengrab came from. But don’t rule out a full global Zune Marketplace/Zune Pass launch when Windows Phone 7 handsets start shipping. Microsoft tells us: “We will be sharing more details on the Zune service later this summer.”

Thus, Zune, as promised, you join a brand content platform from Microsoft.

Although the device is not available outside the United States and Canada, the Zune is already present in other places – Microsoft has renamed its Xbox Live Video Marketplace movie “Zune Marketplace” last year. In music, although the video clips are provided by MSN Xbox VidZone and the United Kingdom has recently launched its own music download service.
